The One Mile Prediction Run will start at 8PM, is free to join, and totally optional.
How it works - Runners will lace up for three laps around the block totaling roughly one mile. We will walk/jog a warmup lap prior to the run so everyone is clear on the route.
Before your run, you must predict your one mile time, write it on a card, and submit it to us. You will then attempt to run that exact time, entirely by feel, with no help from any devices or tech.
Whoever finishes closes to their predicted time wins. If multiple runners are within 3 seconds of their predictions, the faster time wins.
Double Elimination - You'll need a friend for this one!
-You predict your finish time as usual.
-Your friend predicts your finish time too.
-Whichever prediction is closest to your actual finish time becomes your official result.
But There's a Catch...
If your friend's prediction ends up winning, THEY get your prize! 😈
