About the Event
Join us for a hands-on Women's Weaving Circle led by Shelly Fields, a proud Gamilaraay woman from Tamworth, NSW, and Nellie Pollard-Wharton, a proud Kooma woman born in Townsville and raised in Meanjin (Brisbane).
You learn some basics to get started with weaving, listen to Shelly and Nellie yarn about culture, connection and health in a welcoming, supportive space. No weaving experience is needed, and all materials are provided.
Who Should Attend
- This event is for women only, ages 18+
- Beginners welcome
- Free for all women, all materials supplied
