Join us for a yarning session where Shelly Fields, a proud Gamilaraay woman from Tamworth, NSW, and Nellie Pollard-Wharton, a proud Kooma woman born in Townsville and raised in Meanjin (Brisbane).
They will share their stories and perspectives of living and working in Freshwater landscapes in the city and the bush. They will talk about how to maintain active cultural practices which empower individuals and communities through cultural understanding.
