About this Event
The Saturday after Christmas, but make it puppies.
Welcome to French Bulldog Puppy Yoga by Yoga Kawa in Toronto. The holiday chaos has peaked, the leftovers are handled, and now it is time to roll out a mat and let a bat-eared, squishy-faced puppy remind you that everything is fine.
French Bulldogs are compact, affectionate, and deeply committed to being in your personal space. They will sit on your feet, investigate your water bottle, and look up at you with an expression that suggests they have figured something out about life that you have not. They are very good at this class.
Here's how the hour breaks down:
- 35 minutes of easy, beginner-friendly yoga
- 20 minutes of connection and cuddle time
- 5 minutes of sharing circle
Why people keep coming back
Puppy yoga in Toronto does something a regular yoga class cannot. A puppy wanders over, settles against your leg, and your nervous system just... exhales. On a Saturday between Christmas and New Year, when the calendar feels strange and the inbox is quiet, that kind of reset lands differently.
A note on French Bulldog puppies
Frenchies are one of the most people-oriented breeds around. They were bred to be companions and they take that job seriously. Do not be surprised if one claims your mat as its own, snores lightly during savasana, or stares at you with enormous round eyes until you acknowledge them. They are sociable, low-energy enough to settle in, and genuinely delighted to be wherever the people are.
Families are welcome. Kids ages 5 and up are welcome to attend. Anyone under 18 must come with a parent or guardian who also participates and helps the child move gently and handle the puppies with care.
Mats provided. No experience needed. Whether your last yoga class was last week or never, you will fit right in. Come as you are, stay for the puppies, and leave feeling like yourself again.
