About this Event
Are you trying to make sense of behaviour or distress at home or school, and wondering what might actually help your child?
I’ve been developing clear, practical ways to explain complex clinical ideas so they make sense in everyday family life. After a short visual introduction, most of the evening will be spent working through your questions and connecting the ideas to situations you’re facing.
I’ve worked as a mental health nurse for over 10 years, including CAMHS crisis and A&E. I now work independently and specialise in ADHD, autism, PDA (individual and family) and complex behaviour. I have combined ADHD and autism myself, and help people work through challenges associated with these conditions and find practical ways forward.
You might want to ask about:
- ADHD, autism and PDA
- OCD, anxiety and ARFID
- Aggression, self-injury and meltdowns
- Avoidance, shutdowns and EBSA
- Sensory needs, masking and burnout
- Supporting your child at home and school
Bring a specific question or describe the situation you’re trying to make sense of. I’ll help you explore what may be driving it and what might help.
