Join us on Wednesday at 6:30 pm for our Public Domain Theatre program! This month’s free movie is the infamous 1966 cult horror film Manos: The Hands of Fate.Often cited as one of the most notorious films ever made, Manos follows a family who stumbles upon a remote lodge run by a mysterious caretaker and his sinister master, known only as “The Master.” Directed by Harold P. Warren, the film has gained legendary status for its eerie atmosphere, unconventional filmmaking, and devoted cult following—especially through its later revival on Mystery Science Theater 3000.
💡 Fun fact: The film began as a bet that a movie could be made with no filmmaking experience—and it was shot on 16mm equipment with many cast and crew learning as they went.
This event is free, and light concessions will be available for purchase during the show. Please stick around after the movie for a post-film discussion with host Dennis Everette.
