Jo Girdlestone is a Greenwich-based singer-songwriter with a background in theatre making as a performer, youth theatre leader, director and writer. Her lifelong love of stories tends to find it’s way into her songs. She’s been featured on BBC Radio Kent Folk and regularly performances across South London's live music scene. Jo released her debut album Somewhere Before in 2021 on the Global Fusion record label, followed by three EPs: Deep Water (2022), Circle the Sun (2024), and Pushing Back the Shadows (2025).Jo is joined by Scottish songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Malcolm MacWatt, a unique voice in British Folk/Americana. Hailing from Morayshire with the Highlands and the North Sea as a constant backdrop, Malcolm was raised listening to the folk lore and music of Scotland.
All ages are welcome, including babies and children. Entry is free with no need to book and there is an optional retiring collection at the end - all donations go directly to the performers. These concerts are, quite understandably, very popular! Please arrive promptly to avoid disappointment - we may not be able to admit latecomers. We also may not have room for buggies - please use our buggy park. Running time is usually 45-60 mins.
