Valley Health is offering free low-dose CT lung cancer screenings for uninsured or underinsured individuals who meet screening eligibility criteria, including patients with Medicare Part A only and no outpatient coverage.
What to Expect
· Free consultation with a pulmonologist (lung specialist) before your screening to discuss the risks and benefits of lung cancer screening
· Low-dose CT scan
· Follow-up consultation with a pulmonologist to review your screening results
· On-site patient navigators available to assist with follow-up care and support
· Financial assistance information for uninsured and underinsured patients
· Smoking cessation counseling and resources available on-site
