SATURDAY, OCTOBER 17TH
☘️11:30am-12:30pm Sean-nós dancing
Learn how to dance like you are from the west of Ireland! Sean-Nós means 'old way', harking back to the kind of dancing people did years ago in the kitchen: a much looser, more relaxed style, where the emphasis was on moving in sync to the music. The dancing style is close to the floor and very low-key. Very different from competitive Irish dancing!
☘️12:30pm-1:30pm Irish language
Learn how to speak some key phrases in Gaelic ('as Gaeilge'), the native language of Ireland!
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 18TH

ABOUT NIALL O'LEARY
Niall O'Leary, TCRG, ADCRG is a former All-Ireland and World Champion dancer from Dublin, Ireland. Based in New York City for over twenty five years, O’Leary has performed regularly as a solo artist, with duos, and with groups all over the world. He plays the piano, accordion, and spoons!
