Ready to learn some smooth moves? Come on down for an in-person lesson where we’ll break down the basics of West Coast Swing.
West Coast Swing is a modern form of swing dancing. You've probably seen it on YouTube!
No experience needed—just bring your energy and fun vibes.
No partner needed--all dancers will rotate partners.
You should know
This is the first night of a 4-week dance class. But the first night is FREE for new beginners. Then if you want to you can decide to join the class for the rest of the month, which there is a fee for.
What to wear?
West Coast swing is casual. Jeans are fine!
Men typically wear a casual shirt with at least short sleeves. (please no tank tops). Women wear pants and a cute top.
Flat shoes or low heels that will stay on your feet (no clogs, flip-flops, mules). And yes, you'll need to wear shoes!
What if you don't have a partner?
Every one switches partners every few minutes, so you will have someone to dance with. Your instructors, Woody and Louise Bretz, both started their dance journeys when they were single.
