FREE MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID TRAINING CLASS AT CENTENARY UNITED METHODIST CHURCH IN AKRON, OHIO.
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) isa skills-based training program that teaches individuals how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges. Similar to traditional first aid, it provides a 5-step action plan (ALGEE) to offer initial support to someone in distress and connect them with appropriate professional care.
