Join visual artist Marika Morissette for a live acrylic pour painting demonstration as part of Culture Days 2026. Through bold colour, movement, and experimental techniques, Morissette will create multiple fluid art paintings in real time while sharing insights into her creative process and artistic inspiration.
Audience members will experience a variety of acrylic pouring methods, including flip cups, puddle pours, swipe techniques, balloon kisses, torching, straw blowing, and bottle-bottom pours using a spinning lazy susan. Inspired by abstract expressionism and patterns found in nature, Morissette’s vibrant works evoke coral reefs, flowing water, and microscopic life.
