About this Event
Come and join the South East Rivers Trust, Natural Basingstoke and Basingstoke and Dean Council for a family friendly day of activities and a litter pick around Eastrop Park to celebrate Loddon Rivers Week and World Rivers Day.
Take part in river related craft activities, explore a river sample to find out about the invertebrate life that calls the River Loddonits home and take part in a litter pick around to prevent litter getting into the river.
You’ll be part of practical action that supports wildlife, flood resilience and healthier rivers, with guidance from our team throughout.

No previous experience needed.
Suitable for all ages. Children need to be supervised at all times.
What to bring
- Sturdy boots or wellies
- Weather-appropriate clothing
We’ll provide all equipment and gloves for those wanting to take part in a litter pick around the park.
