Free Backyard Anime & Cartoons Night: Audience Choice!

Ditch the solo streaming and watch your favorite animated classics under the stars with a drink in hand.

Whether you're a die-hard anime fan, obsessed with 90s/2000s Saturday morning cartoon nostalgia, or just love late-night adult animation, Thursdays at The Tiny Cupboard Backyard are for you.

Every Thursday night, we turn our outdoor screen over to the crowd for Free Backyard Anime & Cartoons Night. No predetermined setlist, the audience decides what plays on the big screen.

1. Pull Up at 8:30 PM (or before): Grab a drink at the bar and head to the cozy backyard setup.
2. Vote on the Lineup: Check the whiteboard at the door with the night's theme options or pitch your favorite show/movie to the crowd.
3. Sit Back & Watch: We queue up the top audience picks; from iconic anime episodes and feature films to nostalgic cartoon marathons.

• Studio Ghibli & Feature Films: Spirited Away, Howl’s Moving Castle, Akira, Princess Mononoke
• Anime Classics & Fan Favorites: Naruto, Cowboy Bebop, Jujutsu Kaisen, Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball Z
• 90s & 2000s Nostalgia: Avatar: The Last Airbender, SpongeBob, Cartoon Network classics
• Late-Night Adult Animation: Rick and Morty, Futurama, BoJack Horseman, Adult Swim retrospectives

• When: Every Thursday | 8:30 PM (feel free to come as early as you want, we open at 6)
• Where: The Tiny Cupboard Backyard (10 Cooper St, Brooklyn, NY)
• Cost: FREE entry (please grab a drink or a snack at the bar to support the venue!)
