About this Event
About Forest Therapy
Forest therapy is a guided, slow-paced practice of immersing in nature to promote our mental and physical health, and to build a deeper connection to the world around us through mindful invitations.
About this session
During this forest therapy session, everything will be made explicitly optional, and you can enjoy the afternoon’s invitations surrounded by the beautiful garden and trees in a way that feels most relaxing for you.
The session will be slow, gentle, relaxed and at your own pace. Kate will give you some invitations and offer you space to reflect on how you are experiencing the environment around you, and you can simply rest.
About Kate
Kate is an accredited Forest Therapy Practitioner (Light Box CIC / CMA) leading regular sessions in North London since qualifying in July 2025. She believes deeply in the restorative power of nature, and is passionate about ensuring access to nature for everyone. When she isn't guiding groups outdoors, Kate works full-time in the charity sector.

Clothing & footwear
It is likely to be cool and to get cooler as the afternoon goes on. Please bring extra layers and footwear you feel comfortable walking around the site in. Kate will provide mats to sit on.
Accessibility
The session involves walking around, standing, and sitting on the floor on portable mats. If you have any mobility, access, or participation needs, please let us know when you RSVP (or reach out to Laura at [email protected]) so we can make the space welcoming for you. We want everyone to feel comfortable and supported during forest therapy.
Pricing structure
Our tickets are priced on a trust-based system because we never want financial barriers to stand in the way of people attending. If the standard price is a hurdle, please feel free to choose a concession ticket. We do not require proof of benefits, and no questions will be asked at the door. For people in a position to pay a bit more to help support what we do, and keep our events accessible to others, we deeply appreciate it - but if not, there is no pressure.
All proceeds will go towards supporting our free ecotherapy programme for people with mental health recovery needs
