Join NWTA and PP&R for a dig day in Forest Park on the Newton Trail.About this Event
Join NWTA and PP&R for a day of trail work, while we focus on rock work along with drainage and finding solutions for a creek crossing on the Newton Trail in Forest Park. No prior experience needed.
Note: Please arrive 15 minutes early to ensure that you are ready to roll. We work in most weather, so come prepared for the elements.
Where: We will be meeting at the BPA Road Trailhead off of Hwy 30.
What to bring:
- Work clothes: Long sleeve shirt, pants, boots, eye protection, jacket, and gloves
- Hard hat or bike helmet (mandatory)
- Water
- Snacks
- Lunch
- We have tools, but please feel free to bring your own.
Other important things:
- Have fun
- Beginners welcomed and encouraged to come!
- Beverages possibly and/or snacks will be provided
