As the crisp autumn air settles in and we look ahead to winter, I am excited to launch a brand-new winter format for ForestBathing walks.
About this Event

Step away from the rush of daily life and reconnect with the natural world. Join ForestLens for a guided Forest Bathing Walk, designed to help you slow down, awaken your senses, and experience the arrival of winter in a deeply restorative way.

Designed specifically for colder weather, this gentle 1.5-hour experience combines short, 15-minute single-file sensory walks with the cozy comfort of a central basecamp fire.

We’ll cycle between quiet outdoor movement and immediate physical warmth, finishing with a warm cup of artisan tea infused with foraged local winter botanicals around the fire.

What if I get cold during the walk?

Your comfort and physical safety are our top priorities. Because our movement loops are strictly capped at 15 minutes and always originate and end at the basecamp fire, physical warmth is never more than a few minutes away. You are always empowered to step back to the fire early if needed.

Where do we meet?

We gather directly at our designated basecamp area at Sir Wilfrid Laurier Park. Detailed parking instructions, exact meeting coordinates, and check-in details will be emailed to you upon registration.

What to Bring

  • Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing (dressing in layers is highly recommended).
  • Sturdy, comfortable winter boots..
  • Ice Cleats / Microspikes: Depending on recent snowfall and trail conditions, slip-on ice cleats for your boots .
  • An open mind and a willingness to slow down.
