The Fordham Bedford agencies invite you a festive celebration and fabulous exhibition of visual art entitled "The Fabric of Our Lives" created by Concourse House families and Fordham Bedford youth and seniors.
Delicious local cuisine and beverages will be served. The event will also highlight the history and work of Fordham Bedford Housing Corporation, Concourse House, and Fordham Bedford Community Services.
All funds raised will go to support arts and education programs run by the Fordham Bedford agencies.
Fordham Bedford Housing Corporation (FBHC)
Community sponsored housing in the Northwest Bronx that is safe, sound and affordable has been our mission since 1980. Today, FBHC supervises the operation of 130 buildings with more than 4,000 affordable apartments throughout the Northwest Bronx. Our affiliates provide specialized housing for homeless families and services for young people, the elderly and immigrant populations.
Concourse House works to eliminate homelessness by providing families with safe, stable, transitional housing, coupled with a range of social services and programming to help our women make successful transitions into permanent housing.
In partnership with the community, Fordham Bedford Community Services (FBCS) seeks creative ways to strengthen families by providing a variety of programs and services. Fordham Bedford Housing Corporation established FBCS, based on the belief that quality affordable housing in conjunction with supportive social services, preserves families and strengthens the social fabric of our community.
