Date and Time: Monday, November 9, 2026 from 6:30PM - 8PM.Location: Simoni Room
The workshop will cover reflections on the writing process alongside an overview of the caregiver role in a care partnership. Ask yourself,
Are you struggling to find the time to write while caregiving?
Are you frustrated by the lack of project progress?
Are you experiencing doubts and second-guessing yourself as a caregiver and a writer?
Are you negotiating for your own voice in the collaborative processes?
Join Claire as she presents an overview of the caregiver role and collaborative writing process using her own experience of co-authorship in the writing and publication of her co-authored non-fiction work: For Grief’s Sake: The Resilient Caregiver Caring and Coping Well.
The workshop will include an overview of the book, structure, and use. Discussion will include sample reflection prompts. Please bring a notebook or journal with you if you would like to participate in the writing process.
