Folsom Street’s Miracle Mile

This is the unofficial and free Folsom Street Miracle Mile walking tour of historic bars, baths, sex clubs, and leather shops that helped define the Leather & LGBTQ Cultural District. We visit the places and discover the conditions that encouraged San Francisco's unique sex and kink culture to flourish here. It's a ninety minute walk through 175 years of history, ending at a leather bar (in case you develop a thirst.)

Note: this tour is for people 18 years and over.

We’ll begin at Ringold and 9th Street. Plan on about a mile of easy walking (we finish 1/3 mile from the starting point.)

This tour is free; gratuities encouraged.
