About this Event
Description:
Flying can be something we look forward to. A holiday, a visit home, a new job, a long-awaited opportunity.
But when you live with a fear of flying, getting on a plane can feel like the opposite. Even thinking about your next flight may bring a sense of dread. And sometimes, the hardest part is knowing that you understand flying is safe, but your body and your mind don't seem to believe it.
Our Fly Without Fear workshop was created for exactly that.
This is an intimate, practical, and expert-led workshop designed to help you understand what is happening in your mind and body when anxiety takes over, while also helping you understand what is actually happening in the aircraft around you.
Led by a team of mental health and medical professionals and a highly experienced pilot, we bring together psychology, physiology, aviation knowledge, and practical techniques in one supportive space.
What We Will Achieve Together
The goal of Fly Without Fear is not simply to tell you that flying is safe. It's to help you understand why your anxiety responds the way it does and give you the knowledge and tools to work with it.
What you'll walk away with
A better understanding of anxiety and flight anxiety
Practical strategies and tools, including breathing, grounding, and relaxation techniques
