Enter an atmospheric and adventurous world of chamber/progressive jazz with Flower After Flower, a distinctive ensemble led by Ottawa drummer and composer Mike Essoudry.
Blending the intimacy of chamber music with the freedom and complexity of progressive jazz, the group creates music that is intricate, exploratory and deeply immersive. Expect shifting textures, unexpected turns and compositions that reward close listening.
For listeners who like their jazz curious, contemporary and a little unpredictable, this is a night to settle in and let the music unfold.
Chamber/progressive jazz. Atmospheric. Adventurous.
