FIU’s distinguished jazz faculty come together for a concert highlighting the depth and range of one of South Florida’s leading jazz programs. Active as performers, recording artists, composers, and educators, these musicians bring credits that include Grammy nominations, Fulbright recognition, Global Music Awards, international tours, and performances on major stages.
The evening features original works, jazz standards, Latin jazz, and contemporary arrangements performed by the artists who mentor FIU’s next generation of jazz musicians. For South Florida audiences, it is a rare opportunity to hear FIU’s jazz faculty together on the Wertheim stage.
