FIT Supervision/ Consultation Intensive Training (formerly called FIT Supervision Intensive)

Target Audience: Psychologists, Marriage Family Therapists, Social Workers, Counselors, Supervisors, Agency Managers and other Mental health care professionals. Intermediate level.
Course Description
Over three days, we will introduce participants to supervision and consultation methods specifically designed to help clinicians achieve superior outcomes. Through a combination of didactic presentations, and interactive skill building exercises participants will enjoy an engaging online learning experience.
Learning Objectives
After completing this training the health care professional will be able to:
-describe why FIT supervision/consultation is different from conventional supervision
-describe the most common challenges in FIT supervision and consultation and how to address them
- identify and address “at risk” cases requiring FIT consultation
-describe the empirical evidence that supports the use of client feedback and deliberate practice strategies to improve outcome and retention rates
-describe how technology can be used to support and improve services
-outline FIT, its research foundations, and core competencies.
-describe current literature on supervision
-utilize outcome and alliance data and deliberate practice strategies to identify supervision/consultaion needs and guide FIT consultation discussions.
-identify potential adjustments to supervisory practices to align with FIT/deliberate practice.

CANCELLATION POLICY
To insure an optimal learning environment, registration for this event is limited in number. The quality of the training depends on all registrants attending and preparing for the event by completing the pre-conference reading assignments. A 50% refund or 100% of tuition will be applied toward the next available training will be made if requested if cancellation occurs 75 days or more prior to the first day of the scheduled event. If cancellation occurs 74-31 days prior to the first day of the event there will be no refund but a 50% of the tuition portion of registration fees will be applied toward the next available training if requested. If cancellation occurs 30 days or less before the event there will be no refunds or deferral of tuition. CE fees will not be refunded.
In the unlikely event the workshop is cancelled (e.g., weather, death, natural or human caused disasters, or other “Acts of God”) participants will be automatically registered for the next available training. No liability is assumed or coverage offered for any costs incurred resulting from cancellation.
CE Credit Information:
Continuing Education Credits are available for the FIT Supervision/ Consultation Intensive Training (18 credits). CE credits can be purchased upon registration.
