The First Thursday of each month enjoy FREE art exhibits in the New Bohemia Neighborhood. In November, walk through The Cherry Building, and Tree of Liminality to view new artwork exhibits while enjoying the historic neighborhood of New Bohemia. Here is what is happening on November 5:
The Cherry Building 5 to 7pm -
Featured in the Schwartzkopf Gallery on the First Floor:
LEAD WITH LOVE • portraits and other paintings
A solo exhibition by Casey Kasparek. “Over three decades of painting, my work has evolved through portraiture, bold color, graphic linework, typography, and a lifelong love of cartoons and illustration. From earlier portrait series like the kids and Sisters to my newest body of work, LEAD WITH LOVE, these influences have gradually come together to create a visual language that is distinctly my own.” - Casey Kasparek
At the center of this exhibition is a simple phrase:
LEAD WITH LOVE.
It's not a slogan. It's a position.
It places kindness first. It chooses connection before conflict. It favors understanding over reaction.
The words remain constant. What they hold changes depending on who carries them.
Through portraits and typographic paintings, this exhibition explores individuality, connection, and the qualities that make the people in our lives so meaningful.
