December turns the district into a winter market. String lights overhead, a long feast table running through the middle of it, and makers filling the space with work made for giving. A night built on winter magic rather than any one holiday. Books and Authors is the month's featured discipline. The Winter Feast on the menu, warm and worth lingering over.First Friday Surprise is a pop-up creative district that appears on the first Friday of the month, eight nights a season, October through May. Curated makers and artists, food trucks, and live music fill the space in and around Arts HQ Gallery, in the heart of Surprise. Not a market, not a festival. A district that appears, then disappears.
