About this Event
First Friday Community Dinner at First Parish Brookline
Join us from 6pm to 8pm for a delightful evening of food, community at First Parish in Brookline! One game we'll play this month is Name That Tune! All are welcome. There is no charge. Come as you are. You do not even need a ticket. Just show up.
Our First Friday Community Dinner is a fantastic opportunity to make new friends and to have an uplifting experience in a relaxed and caring setting.
We provide a safe and beautiful space for families and children that includes childcare & lightly supervised activities for children.
We provide a delicious community meal including refreshments, main courses, side dishes, salads, deserts and vegetarian options.
We usually have a theme for each dinner. These themes are often focused on upholding values such as justice, equity, compassion, respect for the inherent worth and dignity of every person, democratic processes, and care for the interconnected web of all existence of which we are a part.
We often sing some simple songs and have table conversation about our chosen themes.
Dinners can include musical performances, story slams, comedy, poetry, games, show and tell, trivia, dancing, and other activities. Every community dinner is different. We hope they are all novel and interesting events.
Events are organized and supplied by volunteers.
You are welcome at First Parish no matter your religion, your race, your gender, your sexuality, your national origin, your ability, your wealth or your age. People from anywhere in Massachusetts, the United States or the world are welcome.
