Join Fairbanks Arts and the City of Fairbanks for a reception at City Hall celebrating the current exhibition, featuring metal artist Taylor Buxton of Vibrance Metal Art.A lifelong Alaskan, Taylor finds daily inspiration in the Last Frontier, exploring natural subjects and abstraction across a variety of media. His metal artwork is instantly recognizable, fusing the strength and rigidity of the material with vibrant color and refined technique, turning quiet subtleties into something bold and striking.
Stop by the City Hall Chambers between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m. to see the work in person, meet Taylor, and celebrate Interior Alaska’s artists in one of Fairbanks’ most historic civic spaces. Refreshments will be provided.
Free and open to the public.
If you miss tonight’s reception, the exhibition will remain on view through Friday, November 20. You can visit City Hall Chambers during regular open hours of 8 a.m.–5 p.m., Monday–Friday.
