Join us for this FREE practical First Aid for Runners & Walkers workshop, designed specifically for people who enjoy the outdoors. This session will give you the confidence to deal with common injuries and medical incidents while out on the trails, where help may not be immediately available.
Run by a trained first aider, topics will include:
🏃 Sprains, strains and soft tissue injuries
🦴 Suspected fractures and broken bones
🩹 Cuts, grazes and minor wounds
🐝 Insect bites and stings, including tick bites and safe tick removal
☀️ Heat exhaustion and dehydration
😵 What to do if someone collapses, faints, or becomes unresponsive
📞 Emergency procedures and how to summon help in remote locations
Whether you're an experienced runner, a casual walker, or part of a club or group, these are valuable skills that could help you look after yourself and others when it matters most.
