About this Event
The QA Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work Blended learning package is a two-unit, two day course that will allow successful candidates to act as a first aider in their workplace. This comprehensive course combines e-learning with 2 days of high-quality classroom training covering a wide range of First Aid emergencies, allowing all participants to deal with an emergency situation with confidence in a prompt, safe and effective way.
Learners will need to complete the theory element online via Qualsafe comprehensive e-learning platform and follow this with the practical element and assessment within the classroom. Learners will gain a regulated qualification which accomodates their individual working style and pace.
The classroom training on Tuesday 24 and Wednesday 25 November 2026 commences at 9.00am and finishes at 4.30pm, at West Suffolk College in Bury St Edmunds.
The fee is inclusive of e-learning and physical learning materials and Qualsafe (QA) Registration and examination fees.
The qualification will be assessed by participation in all three assessment activities, complete a test paper and practical assessment. Successful completion of all will be awarded the QA Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work. which is valid for three years.

Employers based in Suffolk or Norfolk may be eligible for funding support to reduce course fees if they currently supply to the energy sector or are looking to work within it. This funding can help make workforce development more affordable while supporting the skills needed to meet industry demand

In the event of cancellation by the client not less than 10 working days before the course, the client will be entitled to a refund of 80% of the course fee (20% will be deducted for administration costs). A cancellation within 10 days of commencement will result in no refund to the client
