If you have an interest in the FDNY, New York City history, or fireboats, David A. Rocco’s Fireboats of the FDNY is a book presentation you’re going to enjoy. In his presentation, you get to see how the FDNY Marine Division grew from the early days of New York’s waterfront into the modern operation it is today. The book covers more than 40 fireboats that served the FDNY between 1875 and 2019. There are some great old photographs throughout the book. You’ll find familiar names such as the New Yorker, Abram S. Hewitt, John J. Harvey, Fire Fighter and John D. McKean, along with plenty of boats that even longtime fire buffs may not know much about!
Mr. Rocoo will have copies of his books available for purchases and signing!
*Limited Parking available on site!
