This Fire Table tasting dinner is an unforgettable night of cooking over flame, bringing together Calgary’s own Connie DeSousa & John Jackson with acclaimed chef, television personality and live-fire enthusiast Roger Mooking.
A familiar face to food lovers across North America, Roger Mooking is an award-winning chef, restaurateur, television host and author known for his passion for bold flavours, global cuisine and cooking over fire. As the host of Man Fire Food and Everyday Exotic, Roger has spent years exploring the stories, techniques and traditions behind food cooked over flame. His culinary career has taken him around the world, bringing together his Chinese and Trinidadian heritage with a deep appreciation for live-fire cooking.
For one night only, watch these chefs take over the fire with a one of a kind collaborative tasting menu in the beautiful and immersive Butcherina Dining Room. Expect bold international flavours, smoke, flame and plenty of interaction as Connie, John and Roger showcase their individual styles and shared passion for cooking over live fire.
