Filmmaking as Activism - Operation Recomply
Join us at the Heart Centre on December 4, 2026 at 7:00 PM
In August 2024, six activists were arrested at Elbit Systems, the headquarters of an Israeli weapons manufacturer in Filton, England. They had broken in with the aim of disrupting the arms trade to Israel. They discovered (and destroyed) quadcopter drones boxed and ready for export.
This led to an unprecedented counter-terror policing investigation known as 'Operation Recomply'.
By July 2025, 24 people had been arrested in relation to the Filton action, all were held under the Terrorism Act and remanded to Pr*son. Told through the eyes of Filton 25's loved ones, the film documents their fight for justice.
Strangers transform grief into a community bound by love, support and resistance as the government uses terrorism laws to criminalise peaceful protest.
