About this Event
Grave of the Fireflies is the amazing studio Ghibli film about a young boy and his little sister's struggle to survive in Japan during World War II. The story follows the two siblings journey, living in the declining days of World War II. When an American firebombing separates the two children from their parents, the two siblings must rely completely on one another while they struggle to fight for their survival.
This is a student event, and all students studying at the University of Portsmouth are welcome (no matter what hall you're staying in). This event will take place in the downstairs common room at Eldon building. There may be photography taking place at this event. Please speak to our RAs, if you do not consent to photos being taken.
This film has an age rating of 12A, however, this film contains distressing scenes, with severe frightning/intense passages. There is ocassional violence, with some level of gore.
