A new social experience for people who hate small talk and love big questions!**When convenience blends with dependancy, what if AI didn’t defeat humanity—what if we simply handed it the keys?**
Join us during Boston AI Week for **Film & Philosophy: What If AI Won?**—an interactive social experience exploring AI, human agency, business, ethics, and governance through film-inspired questions.
**Spotlight Film:** Marvel's "What If...Ultron Won". (Season 1, Episode 8).
This isn’t a lecture, panel, or traditional networking event.
You’ll join rotating pods of people for guided conversations designed to help you skip the small talk and get into the questions that actually matter:
* When does convenience become dependence?
* What decisions should humans never outsource?
* If irresponsible AI gives a company an advantage, who chooses to slow down?
* When AI causes harm, who should be accountable?
**No AI expertise required.** Come as a founder, builder, consultant, creative, policymaker, student, skeptic, enthusiast—or simply someone curious about where all of this is going.
**What to expect:**
* Short film-inspired discussion prompts
* Facilitated conversations in small, rotating groups
* A mix of personal, business, and societal questions
* Time to order food and drinks from Democracy Brewing
* Optional social time after the guided experience
**Coming alone?** Most people will—and your first group will be waiting for you. You won’t have to work the room, introduce yourself to everyone, or figure out where to sit.
**Doors open:** 6:00 PM
**Guided experience:** 6:30–8:45 PM
**Stay and socialize:** Until 9:30 PM
Please arrive by 6:20 PM so we can place everyone into their first conversation pod.
Food and drinks are available for purchase directly from Democracy Brewing.
**For guests 21+. Space is limited to keep the conversations intimate.**
