Step into the Celtic origins of Halloween with Fifth Reel and Friends for an evening of traditional music, songs, stories—and a few ghosts and witches!
“The Auld Haunted Kirk” explores the ancient Irish and Scottish traditions behind Halloween, from costumes and trick-or-treating to jack-o’-lanterns and tales of the supernatural. The evening will feature haunting melodies, lively Celtic dance tunes, traditional songs, and a performance of Robert Burns’ legendary poem Tam O’ Shanter—a wild tale of witches, warlocks, the devil himself, and one very fast horse named Maggie.
Featuring Dave Bumgarner, Lindsey Olish, Ron Young, Connie Michael, John Phillips, and Norm Ashley, Fifth Reel and Friends brings together vocals, guitar, bodhran, piano, uilleann pipes, whistle, and violin.
Celtic music. Good company. A Halloween spirit.
Join us at The Radio Room for a Halloween celebration with its roots firmly planted in the old country.
