Join us for a festive guided walk through the Peak District, followed by a two-course festive lunch at The George in Hathersage.Starting in Hathersage, we’ll head up onto Hathersage Moor towards Higger Tor before descending through Granby Wood and beautiful Padley Gorge to Grindleford. Our return follows the River Derwent along the Derwent Valley Heritage Way back into Hathersage.
It’s a lovely mix of open moorland, woodland and riverside walking — with a festive lunch waiting for us at the end.
The walk is led by qualified Hill & Moorland Leader Kate Rhodes, so you can forget about navigation and simply enjoy the route and the company.
