This is a very much an undulating walk, including 3 major climbs; South Head (1621ft/494m), Mount Famine (1552ft/473m) and Chinley Churn (1499ft/457m). Some paths are edgy and rocky. Walking boots are essential. On the higher ground it can be windier and colder so appropriate clothing must be worn.
