Come along for a pottery hand building class, perfect for beginners and those more experienced with artist Ben Saunders.About this Event
Learn how to bring your creations to life! You will be taught the fundamentals of sculpting with clay and be guided step-by-step through making your very own ceramic creation. You can make anything from festive decorations, cups, dishes, sculptures, hanging decorations, wall hangings, functional pieces... the list goes on! You're also welcome to bring along your own ideas, and you will have support on hand to bring them to life in this workshop.
You will select a glaze colour for your ceramic pieces, and they will be taken away to be fired in the kiln. You can then collect your pieces from Manchester Craft and design Centre, or choose to have them have them posted to you for £6 (standard small parcel) to a UK address.
Your ticket includes:
- All tools, equipment and materials
- Glazing and kiln firing of your ceramic sculpture
- Expert guidance into the ceramic sculpting process
This workshop will take place in Space2, located on the ground floor of Manchester Craft and Design Centre.
