Visitors to Stone Heritage Centre can enjoy a nostalgic journey through Christmases past with a special festive costume exhibition, running from Thursday 19th November to Saturday 19th December 2026.Featuring eight displays of vintage clothing and accessories from the Hope House Costume Museum, the exhibition will showcase Christmas and New Year fashions for men, women and children, spanning the elegance of the late Regency and early Victorian eras through to the colourful styles of the 1970s.
From Victorian sophistication and the glamour of the 1920s and 1930s to the distinctive fashions of the post-war decades, the exhibition offers a fascinating glimpse into changing festive styles and traditions across the generations.
Admission is free, and visitors are welcome every Thursday, Friday and Saturday, between 11.00am and 4.00pm, throughout the exhibition.
A wonderful opportunity to enjoy a little festive nostalgia in the heart of Stone!
