About this Event
Join Stockport Collage Collective to Meet People and Get Creative!
SCC are back again with another workshop focused on meeting new people while making in the heart of Stockport. Expect a chilled atmosphere and the opportunity to make anything you can imagine with our wide range of materials.
To celebrate the holiday season, in addition to our usual collage materials, you can also choose to make a collaged Christmas card or decorate your own gift wrap. All materials will be provided and we'll talk you through everything you need to know.
Led by Angela, a Stockport-based collage artist, you’ll be given reference materials for inspiration, talked through the tools, and then given free rein to create. Choose from a collection of second-hand books and magazines or bring your own images for a specific aesthetic. We'll also provide extra bits like Letraset, cardboard, acetate sheets, and paper gift wrap to give you plenty of options.
The Runaway Brewery will be serving drinks and sourdough pizza throughout, so feel free to grab something for fuel while you make. Please note that in the winter months, the pizza kitchen moves from the beer garden upstairs to the room we will be in, so if you have any questions about allergies, please get in contact with Runaway/Honest Crust in advance!
If you’re looking to meet new people and get stuck in with a creative hobby, come along and we’ll guide you through it!
