Festive Napkin Block Printing: Create Your Own Christmas Tableware
Get creative this Christmas and make something beautiful for your festive table!
Join us, Mads do & Mend CIC, at Orto Print, Blue Garage for a joyful festive block-printing workshop where you'll create your own unique set of printed napkins, ready to bring a little handmade magic to your Christmas table.
We'll have a lovely selection of festive printing blocks for you to play with, from winter greenery and magical mushrooms to seasonal motifs. You can keep things classic and elegant or go bold, playful and wonderfully festive – the choice is yours!
Experiment with colours, patterns and designs to create a set of napkins that's completely personal to you. Make them as a thoughtful, handmade gift for someone you love, or keep them for yourself to dress your Christmas table with something truly special.
It's a chance to slow down, get creative and enjoy a morning of making, experimenting and festive fun.
What's included?
Everything you need to create your own printed napkins will be provided, including:
- Set of x4 white cotton napkins ready for printing and personalising.
- Plenty of scrap fabrics to ply with while you finalise your design
- A selection of festive printing blocks, from mushrooms to winter greenery.
- All printing inks and materials.
- Use of the Orto Print studio space and facilities.
A little note on what to wear!
Block printing is a messy, inky, sticky (but very fun!) business. Please wear old clothes that you don't mind getting a little messy, or bring an apron along. This is definitely not the morning for your best dress or favourite suit!
No previous printing experience needed – just bring your imagination and festive spirit!
