Last month the world briefly stopped spinning when 42 Westies arrived at our shelter, and with 350 applications flooding in, it became pretty clear: Westies are basically the full size candy bars of Halloween…rare, magical, and gone in a flash.And while those fluffy icons have all gone home, we’ve got good news…
Our next adoption event is here, and this time we’re celebrating all the amazing Not Westies who are just as adorable, just as lovable, and totally ready for their moment in the spotlight.
Choosing adoption doesn’t just change one life… it changes MANY. When you welcome a pet into your home, you also free up critical shelter space and resources for other animals who need care. That’s the magic of The Rescue Effect, Westie or Not Westie.
Our doors are open from 2pm–5pm on Friday, October 23rd and Saturday October 24th, and our wonderful cats and dogs are more than ready to meet their future families. If you’ve been thinking about adopting, this is your moment.
Come meet your new best friend, whether they’re Westie-ish, Westie-adjacent, or proudly Not-a-Westie, and help countless others at the same time.
