Wind down Truckee Oktoberfest weekend with us for a night of outdoor films from Rab’s Feathers Film Tour!Featured Films:
For the Love
High in the jungle of Chile’s Cochamó Valley, Hayden Jamieson, Jacob Cook, and Will Sharp set out to free climb Picaflor, a steep granite line that had never been done before.
But For the Love isn’t just about the summit. It’s about the uncertainty, the setbacks, the laughter, and the return. This is a film about why we go into the mountains, not for
recognition, but for something deeper. Through storms, doubt, and a second journey
into the wild, it captures the heart of adventure and the pull that keeps us coming back. Produced by Dizzy Media & Ian Dzielinski
New Terrain
Married couple Krister Kopala, a world-class snowboarder, and Thea Røhme, an aspiring mountain guide, move to western Norway to chase their dreams in the mountains. But when tragedy strikes and ambitions pull them in different directions, they’re forced to confront risk, trust, and each other. How is it to be in exposed terrain with the one you love the most?
Winner Gets Cake
“Brakes off, brains off.” Journey into the unpredictable world of fell running, where mud, weather, and laughter rule. From weekday rat catcher–turned–race director Mike to 74-year-old legend Wendy, with more than a thousand races to her name, this joyful portrait captures the community, chaos, and cake at the heart of the sport.
Mountain of Mystery
Journey into the heart of British Columbia, where skiing, whitewater kayaking, and surfing become pathways to explore the bond between people and the natural world. This is a story of adventure, resilience, and confronting the unknown in one of the most remote wildernesses on earth.
