Specialist Haemorrhoid & Hernia Clinic & Networking Day
Join us at Future Care Medical for an interactive day of specialist care, clinical discussion and professional networking, proudly sponsored by THD (UK).
This is not a traditional presentation. The event is designed to bring together patients, GPs, primary care teams, healthcare professionals and potential partners in a welcoming environment where we can learn about one another’s services, exchange knowledge and explore opportunities for better-connected patient care.
Dr Rao Khalid Mehmood, Consultant General, Colorectal & Laparoscopic Surgeon, will be available to discuss haemorrhoid treatment, gut health concerns and local anaesthetic hernia repair.
Discussion topics will include:
• Recognising common haemorrhoid symptoms and knowing when specialist assessment may be appropriate
• Haemorrhoid banding and available treatment options
• Gut health concerns, including bloating, altered bowel habits, SIBO and dysbiosis
• Hernia assessment and local anaesthetic hernia repair
• Patient suitability, recovery and expectations following treatment
• Improving communication between primary care and specialist services
• Developing clear and clinically appropriate referral pathways
• Opportunities for collaboration between GPs, clinicians and healthcare providers
The day will also offer time to meet local healthcare professionals, introduce your services, exchange ideas and build connections that may support future collaboration.
