Meet the Comedians
🎤 Headliner: Raul Perez
Raul Perez has one of those backgrounds that almost sounds like somebody wrote it specifically to give a comedian material.
Born in New York in 1960 to Cuban parents, Raul moved to Miami with his family in 1971. He grew up watching George Carlin on Johnny Carson, planting the comedy seed early—but the road from watching stand-up to actually doing it took a few decades and several completely different careers.
In 1990, Raul became a firefighter and paramedic, and five years later became a registered nurse. His decades in emergency medicine, combined with being a husband, father of four, grandfather, longtime Miami resident and member of a Cuban-American family, eventually supplied him with something every comedian needs: an unreasonable amount of material.
After retiring, Raul finally pursued the stand-up career that had been sitting in the background since those childhood nights watching Carlin. Today, his comedy draws from aging, marriage, dating, television, family, his former careers, being a Baby Boomer and the strange things people do when they think nobody is paying attention.
And Raul isn’t simply doing five-minute sets at neighborhood open mics.
He has performed at major South Florida comedy venues including the Palm Beach Improv, Dania Beach Improv, Miami Improv, Boca Black Box, Just the Funny, Red Light, Blue Martini and Shindig, among others. He also teaches stand-up comedy through the Improv, helping newer performers learn joke construction, delivery, stage confidence and audience engagement.
Raul previously headlined Fazzingo’s Comedy Showcase at Tall Boy on June 3, 2026, and returns for another round of non-stop laughs!
😂 Bobby Juice
Bobby Juice is part of a newer wave of Palm Beach County comedians helping build comedy outside the traditional club circuit.
His name has become increasingly associated with Bobby Juice & The Neighborhood, a recurring comedy-show concept that has been appearing around the Lake Worth Beach comedy scene. In September, Bobby Juice & The Neighborhood brought its Storytellers Edition to Irish Brigade in Lake Worth Beach, with a lineup including Delta Da Great, Jess Laso, Jeff Alvord and Half Gay Dane.
That format was built around something slightly different from the standard rapid-fire showcase: real stories, raw humor and comedians digging into material that probably would have been safer left out of the group chat.
Bobby has also been part of the growing crossover among comedians working rooms in Lake Worth Beach, Delray Beach, West Palm Beach and Boca Raton, helping create shows where the performers—and not just the venue—develop their own local following.
He joins several familiar collaborators at Tall Boy on October 21, bringing some of that The Neighborhood energy south to Boca Raton.
🔥 Delta Da Great
Delta Da Great may have one of the fastest-moving résumés on this lineup.
Originally from the west side of Atlanta, Delta’s published biography dates the beginning of his stand-up career to June 5, 2024. His material is described as sharp and witty, and he entered the West Palm Beach comedy scene with a simple personal philosophy: “I just want to be happy.”
Apparently happiness involves spending a lot of time holding microphones.
Less than two years after starting stand-up, Delta was already being booked in headliner slots. He headlined Fazzingo’s Comedy Showcase at Tall Boy on April 1, 2026, returned as headliner again on May 16, and has appeared on multiple additional Tall Boy lineups alongside performers including J.P. Kauer, Raul Perez and Pedro “Hitman” Rodriguez.
He has also expanded beyond performing into hosting live rooms. Delta currently hosts the Thursday open mic at Propaganda in Lake Worth Beach, alongside co-host Sarge. Unlike a traditional stand-up-only mic, that room mixes comedy, music, spoken word and other live performances, which means the host has to be ready for almost anything that walks through the door.
Delta also headlined the September Bobby Juice & The Neighborhood Storytellers Edition at Irish Brigade, where Jeff Alvord and Dane were part of the same lineup. So October 21 isn’t a collection of strangers thrown together on a poster. Several of these comics have already worked the same rooms, and audiences get the benefit of that chemistry.
🎙️ Jeff Alvord
Jeff Alvord is another comedian working consistently across the Palm Beach County independent comedy circuit, appearing on lineups in Lake Worth Beach and surrounding South Florida rooms.
In September, Jeff appeared in Bobby Juice & The Neighborhood: Storytellers Edition at Irish Brigade in Lake Worth Beach, joining headliner Delta Da Great, Jess Laso and Half Gay Dane. That show emphasized storytelling and personal material rather than simply stringing together short one-liners, giving performers room to lean into longer-form stories and real-life experiences. That also means Jeff arrives at Tall Boy with existing stage chemistry with Bobby Juice, Delta Da Great and Dane, three performers sharing the October 21 lineup.
For audiences who enjoy discovering comics while they are actively building their names around South Florida, Jeff represents exactly what a local showcase is supposed to offer: another voice from the regional scene that you may not have seen yet.
😂 Dane
Dane, also billed on area comedy lineups as Half Gay Dane, has been working the Palm Beach County circuit alongside several of the performers appearing at Tall Boy on October 21.
Recent bookings include Bobby Juice & The Neighborhood at Irish Brigade in Lake Worth Beach, where Dane shared the bill with Delta Da Great, Jess Laso and Jeff Alvord. Dane has also appeared on the lineup for Bounce Unfiltered Comedy Night at Bounce Delray Beach, alongside Bobby Juice, Delta Da Great and Sweet Feet Q—another example of this group of comedians developing a recognizable circuit between Delray Beach, Lake Worth Beach, West Palm Beach and Boca Raton.
Tall Boy audiences may also recognize Dane from previous Fazzingo events; he has appeared as a special guest on prior Boca Raton comedy lineups.
On October 21, he joins several comedians he has already shared stages with elsewhere in Palm Beach County—this time in Boca.
🎤 Hosted by Johnny Fazzingo
The night is hosted and produced by Johnny Fazzingo, the Brooklyn-rooted South Florida comedian behind Fazzingo’s Comedy Showcase.
Johnny began seriously pursuing stand-up in early 2025, after receiving a five-week comedy workshop as a Christmas gift. He trained under veteran comedian Michael Panzeca, developing his stage voice before quickly moving from student showcases and open mics into producing, hosting and eventually headlining his own shows.
His comedy brings a distinctly Brooklyn, streetwise, self-deprecating point of view to stories about relationships, bad decisions, growing up, everyday aggravations and whatever else has gone wrong recently enough to become material.
Johnny has since built Fazzingo’s Comedy Showcase into a recurring South Florida event format, producing stand-up showcases, open mics, comedy competitions and venue comedy nights while working with both established regional comics and newer performers looking for meaningful stage time.
As host, Johnny’s job is more than reading the next comedian’s name from a piece of paper.
He opens the room, works the crowd, keeps the energy moving between sets, handles the unpredictable moments and makes sure the evening feels like a real comedy show rather than five unrelated people taking turns with a microphone.
And with Raul Perez, Bobby Juice, Delta Da Great, Jeff Alvord and Dane on this lineup, he should have plenty to work with.
