About this Event

2nd Annual WAR Training Event

What could change if more of us knew how to recognize a crisis, start a conversation, and connect someone with support?

Join FAVS for the 2nd Annual WAR Training Event, a free community experience centered on Wellness | Advocacy | Recovery. Come ready to learn from presenters, meet people doing this work in our communities, and take home skills you can use when someone needs you.

The event features training workshops, Adult Mental Health First Aid certification training https://amhfa-11-20.eventbrite.com/, and educational sessions covering mental health, trauma, suicide prevention, financial literacy, military cultural competency, and support for young people and families.

Veterans, service members, first responders, families, caregivers, and community members are welcome. Whether you bring professional experience or simply want to be better prepared for the people in your life, there is a place for you here.

Admission is free. Giving is optional. If you would like to help keep community wellness education accessible, support FAVS through Zeffy.
