Join us at Stout Irish Pub in Cabbagetown for a relaxed evening built around actually getting to know people — not just standing around in a crowded bar hoping someone starts a conversation.
Fast Friends gives you a little structure to make meeting people easier: our host guides you through short conversations and rotations, then we open things up for games, drinks and further socialising.
🎲 And yes — Stout has 50+ board games.
So once you've met the group, you can grab a game with the people you clicked with, or simply stay for another drink and keep talking.

🤝 How the Evening Works
7:00 PM — Arrive & Settle In
Meet your host Kruttika, grab a drink and get comfortable. If you're coming alone, that's completely normal — we'll help you get introduced.
7:30 PM — Fast Friends
This is where the evening really gets going.
You'll move through a series of short, guided conversations, meeting different people along the way. You don't need to figure out who to approach or how to start — we've designed the format to take care of that.
✨ Common Ground Challenge
We'll introduce a simple interactive round to help you discover the unexpected things you have in common with people you've met.
Think less “networking exercise” and more:
“Wait… you like that too?”
🎲 From 8:30 PM — Board Games & Socialising
Stay and make an evening of it.
Choose from Stout's 50+ board games, grab another drink, find a few people to play with, or simply continue the conversations that started during Fast Friends.
And if you're staying later, Stout's current After Dark Special runs from 9–11 PM, with $7 beers and $7 highballs, among other specials.
