Fascial Therapy Foundations + Deep Front Line This four-day training combines Fascial Therapy Foundations with an in-depth exploration of the Deep Front Line — the core system linking breath, posture, visceral support, and emotional tone.
4-Day Training with Steven Goldstein
9–12 October 2026 | Norton Fitzwarren Village Hall, Taunton
9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Designed as a progressive programme, the course moves from broad, whole-body principles into focused work with the body’s deepest fascial relationships.
Days 1–2: Foundations in Fascial Therapy
The first two days establish the core framework that underpins all of Steven Goldstein’s work.
You’ll explore:
- How fascia responds to both direct and indirect touch
- Recognising global patterns of tension and compensation
- Working with joints and soft tissue as a unified system
- Creating change with less force and greater precision
- Nervous-system-aware approaches that support safety and regulation
These foundations give you a clear, repeatable way to assess and treat complex presentations — preparing you for the deeper work that follows.
Days 3–4: Deep Front Line – Psoas, Diaphragm & Core Integration
The final two days focus on the Deep Front Line (DFL) — a key fascial network that includes the psoas, diaphragm, pelvic structures, and visceral connections.
You’ll learn how to:
- Understand the role of the psoas and diaphragm in posture, movement, and breath
- Work safely and effectively with deep core restrictions
- Recognise how unresolved core tension affects the spine, hips, ribs, and neck
- Integrate breath, fascia, and gentle manual strategies for lasting change
This section is taught in a grounded, practical way, bridging anatomy with hands-on techniques suitable for clinical practice.
This course is ideal for:
- Massage therapists
- Myofascial and structural practitioners
- Osteopaths and physios
- Bowen practitioners and other bodyworkers
It’s particularly relevant if you work with clients experiencing:
- Chronic postural holding or instability
- Persistent hip, low back, or breathing-related issues
- Patterns that don’t resolve with local treatment alone
No prior training with Steven is required.
Across four immersive days, you’ll gain:
- A strong fascial framework you can apply immediately
- Confidence working with deeper structures without force
- Clearer clinical reasoning around core-driven patterns
- Techniques that integrate seamlessly with your existing approach
Teaching is hands-on, experiential, and delivered in small groups to support depth of learning and individual feedback.
