About this Event
Help Us Prepare the Next Generation of Healthcare Professionals!
Farmington Municipal Schools invites hospitals, clinics, healthcare providers, workforce leaders, and medical professionals to help shape the future of healthcare education at our developing Technical Center.
As healthcare workforce demands continue to grow across San Juan County and the Four Corners Region, we want students to have access to meaningful credentials, hands-on training, and clear pathways into high-demand healthcare careers.
Your input will directly influence the programs and experiences we develop for our future healthcare workforce.
During this collaborative working session, we will:
- Identify priority healthcare occupations and entry-level workforce needs.
- Determine the industry-recognized credentials and certifications students should earn.
- Explore pathways in nursing assistance, patient care, medical assisting, and other high-demand healthcare fields.
- Identify clinical skills, lab equipment, simulations, and hands-on experiences needed for training.
- Discuss opportunities for healthcare professionals to support curriculum development, instruction, and student experiences.
